How To ... Get Over a Relationship

1. You may feel really low and completely unmotivated right now, but if you can force yourself at first to take these steps, it will get easier!

2. Give your friends a call and setup a time to do something fun.

3. Do the things you used to enjoy but were not able to do when you were dating your ex.

4. Throw yourself into the activities you've been thinking about getting involved in, but haven't had time for.

5. Let yourself be around your ex.

6. If you feel like you want to get back together, repeat steps 1-5.

7. If you're comfortable being around your ex and don't feel the need to slip back into your old relationship, congratulations! You have moved on with your life!

8. Make a list of all the annoying things he used to do and carry it with you for whenever you think about him.

9. When your past the hurt stage and on to angry make a little voodoo doll out of tights and draw his face on it. Obviously avoid voodoo incantation but trust me its very theraputic!!

10. And the most important ... ICECREAM ICECREAM ICECREAM!!!!! Combined with an action film starring Keanu Reeves or Kiefer Sutherland and its a surefire pick-me-up!!!

Tips:

When a person is in a serious relationship, sometimes s/he may put less effort into maintaining friendships. This means you're going to have to be the on to take the first step in repairing your friendships.

Sometimes a person can identify his/herself by the relationship (ex: seeing yourself as 'Ashely's boyfriend'). This can be hard to deal with when the relationship is over and you're left without an identity.
Getting over someone is a tough, but you'll learn a lot about yourself and the kind of relationship you want for the future.

STRIP CLUB!!!!!

God you women make getting over a relationship sound difficult.

Get the lads in, get so drunk you cannot remember your name, give your 'so-called' best mate your credit card and have naked women dance infront of you. Next day you are completley over your relationship with a huge credit card bill lol.

that is because us women are sensitive and care...and yes oggling fitties may help us to over come a break-up..but that is not enough...ive only suffered one break-up and it was awful ... well it was me who chucked him..but i still felt really bad.
