Thinking of the future « Thread Started on Mar 13, 2006, 1:23pm »
Xavier walked down to the lake and threw himself down on the green grass underneath a huge tree. It was a warm spring day and he closed his eyes enjoying the first warm weather of the year, the smells of the newley grown flowers was strong and he inhaled deeply and instantly felt at peace. Looking round to make sure that there were no teachers about, he pulled out a packet of cigarettes and lit one up. Watching the giant squid floating lazily nearby he began to think. He was in 7th year, just about to sit his NEWT's along with Angelina. He didnt know what he was going to do when he left school but he knew that he wanted her in his life. As he continued to smoke he noticed a few other students mingling nearby, a few of whom he recognised. Enjoying the fact that he was happy again, he closed his eyes and sank bak against the trunk of the tree when suddenly someone approached him.

"Is this a private daydream or can any one join in?" Angelina asked as she sat down next to him. "Blow the smoke this way" she grinned as he opened his eyes to look round at her. "It's days like these I really wish I hadn't given up".
